​The call was received at 11:18 a.m. about a blaze at a tri-level, single-family residence. Crews arriving minutes latter at the scene reported heavy smoke from the eaves and second floor, and the attached garage fully involved with fire.

Two residents had evacuated before the fire department's arrival. One of them said he had been working on his car in the garage, went into the house, and then heard an explosion back in the garage. Neither resident was injured.
