Project Manager: Robert Steele
Civil Engineer: Adriana Webb
The project takes place on Harlem Avenue from Golf Road to Glenview Road. More than 8,000 feet of new water main will be installed that will consolidate three existing outdated water mains into one new 12-inch diameter water main. Additionally, traffic signals will be upgraded and pedestrian push buttons added at three intersections; sidewalks will be repaired and upgraded with ADA ramps; and the roadway will be resurfaced.
The Village Board of Trustees on October 4, 2016 approved documentation that allows just over $1 million in federal Surface Transportation Program funds to be allocated for this project.
