Now you can take "mailing my water/sewer bill" off your to-do list by signing up for the Village's new direct debit utility payment program. Once you do, the Village will withdraw the amount billed from your checking or savings account on the due date  and you'll save a stamp, a trip to the mail box and any late fees.

 

It's easy to get on board. Just download an authorization agreement form (these are also available in the Village Resolution Center, Village Hall, Second Floor, 1225 Waukegan Road. Fill out the form, sign and attach a voided check, and return the whole thing to the Resolution Center (the full address is on the form itself.)

 

You'll know that your direct debit payments have begun when your utility bill contains the phrase "Direct Debit Pay." Call the Resolution Center at (847) 724-1700.
