The Inspectional Services Division, housed in the Village's Development Department, enforces Glenview's building, health, zoning and fire codes. It reviews, approves, inspects and issues permits for all construction in the the Village. Many structures require inspections from several different Village departments; Inspectional Services coordinates all of these. Staff also follows up on zoning violation complaints. It also conducts health inspections.
