Glenview train stations
- The Glenview Station downtown at Grove and Depot.
- The Glen of North Glenview Station at Lehigh just north of West Lake.
Permit Parking
To park in the Village's commuter parking lots you'll need a permit (it hangs on your rear view mirror). Permit costs vary, depending on whether or not you live in incorporated or unincorporated Glenview.
Incorporated resident permits cost $300, and unincorporated resident permits cost $400.
At both stations, residents with permits may park in designated lots.
Daily Fee Parking
Daily slot box parking is available at both Metra lots; the cost is $2/day. By October 19, 2009 the Village will have installed new parking machines at both stations. They will accept cash, coin and credit cards, however, they will no longer accept the Village's free debit cards. The Village's vendor will be on-site at both stations from October 19-23, 5:15 a.m. - 9:15 a.m., to assist commuters with the new machines.
If you already have a debit card, you may not want to load it with additional money -- and you are encouraged to begin spending it down. You can also receive a refund if you still have money on your card. Click the link for details and call (847) 724-1700 with questions.
