Call to Order: The meeting was called to order at 8:05 a.m. in the conference room at Glenview Fire Station 6.  On roll call the following were:

Present:  Board President/Trustee Nick Rusher, Trustee/Secretary Tom Dvorak, Trustee Mike McPeek, Trustee Mike Caplis, and Carol Bjankini, Recording Secretary.

Other Business: Glenview FF/PM Phillip Janusz resigned November 23, 2009.  Mr. Janusz notified the Board that documents regarding the transfer of service credits would be forthcoming.  The Board is in receipt of copies of the correspondence between the Firemen's Annuity and Benefit Fund and Phillip Janusz regarding his request to transfer service credits from the Glenview Firefighter's Pension Fund to the Firemen's Annuity and Benefit Fund of Chicago under the provisions of newly enacted 40 ILCS, Act 5, Article 6-227.

After a review and discussion of the documents, Trustee McPeek motioned that the Firefighters' Pension Board authorize the transfer of $67,389.74 to the Chicago Firemen's Annuity and Benefit Fund to complete the transfer of Phillip Janusz' 5 years, 8 months, and 6 days of creditable service to the Chicago Firemen's Annuity and Benefit Fund pursuant to Public Act 96-0727; Trustee Caplis seconded, and a roll call was taken and the vote was all ayes, no nays and the motion passed.

The above meetings are scheduled at 7:30 a.m. in Glenview Fire Station No. 6 at 1815 Glenview Road, Glenview IL.

Adjournment: Trustee Dvorak motioned to adjourn, Trustee McPeek seconded and the vote was all ayes, no nays and the meeting adjourned at 8:25 a.m.
