GLENVIEW POLICE SUPPORT THE LAW ENFORCEMENT TORCH RUN FOR SPECIAL OLYMPICS

Officers prepare to Run WITH the Law to garner donations to the Special Olympics Law Enforcement Torch Run
Glenview officers organized Run WITH the Law on April 27, 2011 at Gallery Park, a cooperative effort involving officers and Attea and Springman Middle School students to raise funds for the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Illinois The staff of the Glenview Police Department and the Glenview Chapter of the Fraternal Order of Police proudly support the Illinois Special Olympics by also participating in the following upcoming events:
- "Cop on Top" - on May 20 officers will sit atop the Dunkin Donuts at Lake Avenue and Milwaukee Avenue to raise awareness and funds
- Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Illinois - on June 5 several officers will run the northeast leg of the event with sponsors pledging donations.
