FIRE PLAN REVIEW
Fire Building Permits
As of January 1, 2010 ALL SUBMITTALS for Fire Alarms (installation, alterations or modifications); Fire Sprinkler Systems (new/upgrade/addition of sprinkler heads); Alarm Panels, or Monitoring Equipment will be permitted.
All Contractors will be required to be licensed in the Village: Fire Alarm Contractor (copy of State License) and Fire Sprinkler Contractor (copy of State License).
PROCEDURE:
All Fire submittals should be DIRECTLY SUBMITTED TO: FSCI, 2420 Alft, Ste. B100, Elgin, IL 60124. Upon submittal a plan review fee will be charged by and paid directly to FSCI (questions re: review fees can be directed to FSCI at (847)697-1300.
After FSCI completes a plan review and the Village of Glenview Fire Prevention Bureau completes a plan review, the applicant will be contacted. The permit fee (see reverse side) and contractor status will be conveyed and the applicant will be required to pick up the permit and pay the permit fee.
