The Development Department's Inspectional Services Division enforces Glenview's building, health, fire, property maintenance, and zoning codes. It reviews, approves, inspects, and issues permits for all construction throughout the Village. Many construction projects require inspections from several Village departments; Inspectional Services coordinates all of these. Staff also follows up on violations & complaints, and performs all health inspections.
