CAN REGISTERING YOUR BIKE SAVE YOUR CHILD'S LIFE?

Did you ever imagine that registering your child's bike could save their life? This is how it could happen:

It's 7:45 am and your 10 year old child decides to ride her bike to school. A careless motorist hits your child and the impact renders her unconscious. The police and paramedics have no information about your child or you because she is not carrying any identification. But if the bicycle is registered with the Police Department, a quick check will identify the bicycle owner. The Police can then notify you after pulling up your telephone number on the registration form. The same procedure could also be used to identify an adult who did not have identification with them.

Registering your bike is easy and FREE! Simply print out the Bike registration form and fill out the information. Mail it in or stop by the Police Station to receive your bicycle sticker with a registration number. Affix the sticker to your bike and you are ready to ride!

Mail your registration to:
