Village President's Report
- Appointment of Steve Bucklin as Plan Commission Chairman.
Approved
- Contract and bid awards for:
- Engineering design services for the east of Harms Sanitary Sewer System Improvement Project to RJN Group. Budget: $143,910.
- Contruction of Reach 1 habitat improvements (along the river from Willow south to the Techny Basin Spillway) to Lake County Grading Company LLC. Budget: $606,341.
- Residential refuse, recycling and landscape waste collection services to Groot Industries, Inc. This six-year contract will go into effect on July 1, 2010; significant changes include limiting pick-up to once each week and a requirement that customers use standardized containers supplied by the Village.
- Amendment of the Village's Comprehensive Plan and adoption of the Waukegan Road Corridor Plan.
- Environmental Plan for Reach 1 Habitat Improvement Project (see above).
First Consideration
- Final site plan extension to April 17 for Glenview Crossing, 3 Waukegan Road.
- Conditional use (B-2 use in an I-2 zone) for J&W Learning Center, 3338 West Lake Avenue.
- Amendment to the Municipal Code regarding commercial real estate signs. Significant changes include the addition of design guidelines for the signs, as well as location specifications and requirements regarding sign maintenance.

- First consideration of a:
- Comprehensive Plan amendement for a Pleasant Plains annexation policy.
- Plan Commission denial of the Pleasant Plains Official Map amendment.
- Plan Commission denial of a rezoning at 3303-3305 Westview Drive.
Remanded
- Rezoning and single-lot subdivision for 3260 Brookdale Lane -- to Plan Commission for further evaluation.
