Village President's Report
- Recognition of Howard Silver, former Plan Commission Chairman.
Approved
- Extension of final site plan review approval to April 17 for Glenview Crossing, 3 Waukegan Road.
- Adoption of the Waukegan Road Corridor Plan and amendment of the Village's Comprehensive Plan.
- Contract and bid awards for:
- East Bank Stabilization Project construction to Encap, Inc. Budget: $116,209.
- Pfingsten Road infrastructure improvement project to DiMeo Brothers, Inc. Budget: $3,170,930.
- Outplacement services ($3,145 amendment) to Oak Consulting, Inc. Total Budget: $36,775.
- Amendment to the Municipal Code regarding commercial real estate signs. Significant changes include the addition of design guidelines for the signs, as well as location specifications and requirements regarding sign maintenance.
- Inter-agency agreement (renewal) with the Cook County Assessor's Office to provide the Village with access to the County's Geographic Information System (GIS).
- Purchase of seven replacement vehicles for the Police Department from Landmark Ford. Price: $159,460.
- Extension until March 2 of the expiration of the rezoning application period for 3303-3305 Westview Drive.
- Revision to ordinance establishing Special Service Area 62 for Glen Oak Acres Storm Water Area Management Project (SWAMP) that removes the addresses of three area residents who have already paid their share of the project cost in full (as opposed to over a 20-year period via their property tax bills.)
- Sale of 443 square feet of Village-owned property to Midwest Palliative and Hospice CareCenter, 2050 Claire Court, which plans to construct a 16-bed addition on the land.

- Regarding the planned addition by Midwest Palliative and Hospice CareCenter, 2050 Claire Court (see above):
- Conditional use, final site plan review and preliminary subdivision.
- Commercial variation.
- Conditional use, final site plan, and preliminary subdivision for Five Guys Burgers and Fries carry-out, 2141 Willow Road; final site plan for an additional ground sign for the Willow Creek Shopping Center.
- Twelve-month extension of expiration of conditional use (B-3 use in a B-2 district) for temporary office structure at Bredemann Ford, 2038 Waukegan Road.
- Rezoning approval (from R-1 to B-2) for the Milwaukee and Central Shopping Center, 505 Milwaukee Avenue.

- First consideration of a:
- Comprehensive Plan amendment for a Pleasant Plains annexation policy.
- Plan Commission denial of the Pleasant Plains Official Map amendment.
- Plan Commission recommendation to deny the rezoning application period for 3303-3305 Westview Drive (see above).
- Amendment to Municipal Code relating to the maximum number of liquor licenses within a classification.
- Options to provide landscaping around the Video Ready Access Devices ("VRAD") installations necessary for implementation of AT&T's Project Lightspeed (U-Verse).
