Village President's Report
- The Board approved a resolution to join the Pension Fairness for Illinois Communities Coalition, which brings together units of local government, organizations representing local governments, trade and business associations, advocacy groups, taxpayers and other stakeholders who have concerns regarding sustainable pensions in order to bring fairness to the public safety pension system. The goal is to work with legislators and public pension fund representatives to identify a way to ensure sustainable retirement benefits for public safety employees.
