Village Manager's Report
- 2009 Year-End Financial Report.
- Revenue for 2009 was budgeted at $55.2 million; actual revenue was $52.3 million. Taxes, fees and investment income all came in below budget.
- Expenses for 2009 were budgeted at $55.3 million; actual expenses were $48.2 million. This was due both to restructuring and expense reductions, and to postponement of capital projects.
- Corporate fund balance at the end of 2009 was $20.2 million.

Change of ownership for the Glenview House, 1843 Glenview Road to Stephen Podjasek and Michael Canning. This is necessary as the establishment has a liquor license.

Temporary road closures and other traffic and parking restrictions for:
- Glenview Summer Festival, June 26.
- Independence Day Parade and Fireworks, July 5.
- Temporary "No Parking" zone in the Concord/Southgate subdvision for Youth Make a Difference 5K Run/Walk to benefit Youth Services, June 20.
- Amendment to No Parking Zones and parking restrictions on Washington Street between Dewes Street and Lehigh Avenue.
- Conditional uses for:
- Panda Express, 2145 Willow Road.
- Jersey Mike's Subs, 2149 Willow Road.
- Amendment to Municipal Code relating to animals that adds a general definition of "animals," clarifies the maximum number of animals permitted to reside at a dwelling (ten), and lists exceptions to this rule.
- Deletion of section of Municipal Code relating to licensing food vending machines. The Village no longer inspects or licenses these machines; any issues are handled under the Village's Food Code.
- Extension of Final Site Plan Ordinances for:
- McDonald's, 530 Waukegan Road.
- Greenleaf Manor, 3345 Sanders Road.
- Expenditure of Fiscal Year 2010 funds for High Level Execess Liability Pool (HELP) premiums. Amount not to exceed $87,511.
- Single-lot subdivisions for:
- Piotrowski, 1602 Woodlawn Avenue.
- Ansari-Syed, 802 Normandy Lane.
- Contracts, bid awards and purchases:
- Water system lead detection and survey services to ADS, LLC. Three-year contract. Budget: $103,620.
- Concrete improvements/Minor Area Repair Strategy (MARS) Program under the approved 2008-2010 contract to M&A Cement Work, Inc. Budget:$100,000.
- Three trucks through State of Illinois light- and medium-trucks contracts. Budget: $82,842. Truck outfitting to Auto Truck Group. Budget: $36,764.
- Triumvera water system improvement project to Hill Mechanical. This three-year contract also required a budget amendment. Budget: $475,700.
- Investment services to PMA Financial Network, Inc. Two-year contract amendment. Budget: $140,000.
- Carousel/Briarford/Barbary roadway reconstruction project to PirTano
Construction Company, Inc. Budget: $1,339,576.
- Old Willow Road reconstruction and widening project to ALamp
Concrete Contractors, Inc. Budget: $1,715,975.
- Laramie Pumping Station heating system renovation project to Amber Mechanical Contractors, Inc. Budget: $74,001.
- Employee medical benefit consulting services to Corporate Benefit Consultants, Inc. Budget: $29.700.
- Waukegan Road 2010 enhancement project to Copenhaver
Construction, Inc. Budget: $646,795.
- Lease agreement with the North Shore Amateur Radio Club for the installation of equipment at 1215 Waukegan Road.
- Payment of right-of-way dedications and easements to 15 property owners for the proposed Glenview/Greenwood intersection project. Budget: $186,550.
- Intergovernmental Agreement with the Glenview Park District to transfer management of the Park.
First Consideration
- Final site plan for 1 Culligan Parkway - Glenstar Development Entrance.
- Rezoning (from R-1 to R-3) and single-lot subdivision of 3260 Brookdale Lane, Putman residence. Vote 5-1 in favor.
- Regulatory review time limit text amendments to Municipal Code regarding permits, conditional use, variation and site plan review.
- Text updates to Municipal Code including staff designations, zoning districts, and commission review.
