Village Manager's Report

  • Financial Report for Quarter 1, 2009. Staff is cautiously optimistic that revenues are beginning to stabilize. Total revenues are $1.1 million over Q1 2008, but staff continues to closely monitor negative trending in the State Shared Sales Tax, State Shared Income Tax, Hotel Tax, and Building Permit revenue categories that will fall short of FY 2009 budgeted amounts. Due to aggressive cost containment measures and some favorable service contracts, total expenses are $628,000 below Q1 2008 and are on pace to come in below the full year 2009 revised budgeted amount.
