Village President's Report:
- Recognition of the outstanding job done by staff during the recent storm and flooding events.
- Reminders on rescheduled events and meetings, including:
- The Milwaukee Avenue Bridge closure is now scheduled for Sunday, September 9
- The Library Workshop is now scheduled for Wednesday, September 5, during the regular Appearance Commission meeting at 7 p.m. in the Village Hall.
- Residents are invited to attend the September 11 Dedication Ceremony of the Glenview Freedom Memorial at 6:30 p.m. in Gallery Park.
Village Manager's Report:
- Report on the recent storm and flooding events and Village response.
Approved:
- Annexation Ordinance for 1139 Huber Lane.
- Final site plan and preliminary subdivision for Carriage Hill Kennels - 2218 Waukegan Road.
- Additional wine tasting event for Old Willow Wine Shoppe, 1500 Old Willow Road.
- Milwaukee Avenue Corridor Plan and Amendment to the 2004 Village Comprehensive Plan.
First Consideration:
- Temporary "no parking" zone for the Rotary Run for Glenview in Manor Park.
- Rezoning of 1150 Huber Lane.
Continued:
- Our Lady of Perpetual Help's pending covenant to provide storm water detention.
- Regarding the Village Emerald Ash Borer Management Plan, an amendment to the Tree Preservation Ordinance.
