Jim Patterson has served as a Village Trustee since 2003. Formerly a member of the Glenview Plan Commission, he has volunteered many hours to the Glenview community in a variety of capacities. In support of the AYSO organization he has served as coach, referee and, while a member of the Board, Long Range Planning Chair and Referee Administrator. He was Co-Chair for the 1998 Glenview Park District Farms and Fields Referendum Committee and a Glenview Centennial Commission volunteer. Jim has been a member of the Glenview Park District Foundation Board since 1999.
A 1980 graduate of the University of Tulsa with a degree in Finance, Trustee Patterson is now a principal of Northbrook-based Patterson Company, Inc., a family-owned food brokerage. He served twice as President of the National Vending Brokers Association and is a current board member for the Illinois Automatic Merchandising Association, for which he served as Chairman of the Public Health Committee. Patterson and his wife have resided in Glenview for 18 years.
