Paul Detlefs has lived in Glenview since 1983. He spent most of his business career at the large consulting firm Accenture, including 12 years as a Partner. In 2001, he started his own consulting firm that operates peer advisory boards and provides business coaching to owners of small companies. He is a CPA with an MBA degree from the University of Chicago and a BA from DePauw University.
Trustee Detlefs was formerly President of the Logan Square Boys & Girls' Club and is currently Treasurer of the Chicago Academy for the Arts. His is active in St. David's Episcopal Church where he was the Senior Warden. In 2001, he was Co-Chair of the District 34 Citizens' Finance Review Task Force and then served for three years on the District's Finance Committee.
Trustee Detlefs and his wife Katie have three children.
