Trustee White brings to the Board 37 years of business experience. Between 1989-1994, he led the Sweetheart Cup Company, a leading supplier of disposable products for the serving and packaging of food and beverage items, first as President and Chief Operating Officer, and then as President and Principal Executive Officer.

Previously, White had served as President and Chief Operating Officer for Continental Bondware, as General Manager of Sales and Marketing for Continental Fibre Drum, and in various marketing and sales position for the White Cap Company.

In 1994, White transitioned the Sweetheart Cup Company to a new investor group and took early retirement. Since that time, he has been deeply involved in philanthropic work, including serving three years on the Board of the International Dyslexia Association. For the past nine years, White has worked pro bono for the Catholic Theological Union. Located in Chicago, it is the largest Catholic graduate school of theology in North America. In addition to serving on the four-member Executive Committee that oversees the management of the school, White is also a member of the Institutional Planning Committee, the Building and Grounds Committee, and a number of other standing and ad hoc committees. He has also been deeply involved in the analysis, establishment of requirements, planning, design and construction of the Union's new and renovated $21 million campus.

White received his BS in Mechanical Engineering, Magna Cum Laude, from the University of Notre Dame. He and his wife Rosemary have lived in Glenview for two years.
