Scott Britton has served as a Village Trustee since 2007. He has have lived in Glenview since 1999 having moved from Evanston. He is the proud father of two children, Ellie and Jake.
Scott is a senior partner with the law firm of Brenner, Ford, Monroe & Scott, Ltd. in Chicago, Illinois. He concentrates his practice in insurance defense and commercial litigation. He has experience in all aspects of trial and appellate practice with an emphasis in products liability, transportation, construction, professional negligence, insurance coverage and related litigation. Scott has also given a number of presentations to various groups on insurance and related topics to insurance companies and national business organizations. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree from Millikin University and his law degree from the University of Illinois.
Scott was appointed to the Glenview District 34 School Board in 2002 and was elected to a full term in 2003. He has served on the compensation committee and for the last year has functioned as vice president. He is active as a parishioner at St. Catherine Laboure Catholic Church. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of the North Suburban United Way.
