Glenview's Green Business Awards
Is your business taking steps to "go green"? Whether it's switching to CFL bulbs, inceasing recycling, installing energy-saving technology or finding other ways to reduce and resuse resources, we want to hear about it. As part of its effort to encourage Glenview businesses to operate in a sustainable manner and be environmentally responsible, the Village has established a Green Business Awards Program.
It's easy to get started. Just selected the "Go Green - New Form" button below and complete your application on-line. You can complete or edit your form at any time by choosing the "Update Existing Form" button.
Applications are accepted on an on-going basis. Twice annually – on approximately June1 and December 15 – applications will be reviewed as they exist in the system at that time. Award decisions are made by a selection committee made up of Village and Glenview Chamber of Commerce representatives, as well as a representative of at least one local business. As the discretion of the committee, some exceptional applicants may be designated as "Go Green Gold Award Winners." All recipients will be honored twice annually at a Village Board meeting -- and will be highlighted on our website, in the Village Report, and in E-Glenview.
