Speak up about O'Hare flight plan changes

Make your voice heard regarding plans to spread around the noise of night flights at O’Hare International Airport. Comments are being taken on the draft Federal Aviation Administration report re-evaluating the O’Hare Modernization Environmental Impact Statement for the proposed Interim Fly Quiet Runway Rotation Plan.

The interim plan was designed by the O’Hare Noise Compatibility Commission – of which Glenview is a member – and the Chicago Department of Aviation to designate a weekly rotation of different runway configurations. Two runway paths cross Glenview, which would be used every other week under the interim plan. If approved by the FAA, the interim plan could go into effect for about 11 months from November 2019 to January 2021, before build out of the O’Hare Modernization Program.
