Glenview and the surrounding area could be in for a messy weekend. Rain forecast to begin tonight is expected to change to freezing rain Saturday morning, then to all snow late Saturday afternoon, with gusty winds throughout. Ice and snow accumulations are predicted.
Village crews are already mobilizing to respond to hazardous weather conditions. Salting of Glenview-owned roadways is expected to begin Saturday morning or as the weather warrants, and crews are scheduled to work into Sunday morning to salt, plow and cleanup if necessary.
