Thinking of going solar?

Solarize Chicagoland is a group purchasing program for residential solar. Offered by the Citizens Utility Board and the Midwest Renewable Energy Association, home and business owners throughout Cook, Will, DuPage and Kane counties may participate in this program to help pool their buying power to secure significant discounts that make installing solar more affordable.

Start by attending a Solar Power Hour. CUB is hosting more than 50 free solar educational events, including one in Glenview from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 19, at Glenview Village Hall, 2500 East Lake Avenue. The free information session teaches the basics of solar, its financial implications for a property, and how the Solarize Chicagoland program works.

Then, get a free, no obligation site assessment from a competitively-selected installer. The deadline to sign up for Solarize Chicagoland is September 30, 2019.
