Project description

The proposed improvements consist of the repair of existing underground utility (sanitary and storm sewer) sections, repair of existing utility structures, partial or full removal of existing pavement, placement of new hot-mix asphalt,  and replacement of deteriorated sections of sidewalk and curb and gutters.  The project scope also includes partial resurfacing of damaged pavement sections in various locations, as per the Minor Area Repair Strategy (MARS) program. Please see the table below for the areas that will be included as part of this project.

Tentative schedule

Construction is scheduled to start in mid-June, beginning with curb and gutter removal, with the contract working from the west side of town to the east side. Schedule may be revised due to inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances.

Completion  is anticipated in October 2018.

Work hours are 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.  Saturday. Work outside these hours will require Village approval.
