Project Summary

The Village's FY2023 Road Resurfacing Project includes resurfacing of approximately four and a half (4.5) miles of roadways consisting of sixteen (16) street sections and one alley (see attached Location Map), as well as the implementation of the annual MARS Program.

The following street sections are planned for asphalt resurfacing in 2023:

​​Scope of Work

The following major improvements are included in this contract: 

• The proposed storm sewer improvements consist of minor repair work, including installing approximately 600 feet of 12-inch storm sewer to improve stormwater conveyance.
•  The proposed minor sanitary sewer improvements consist of minor sanitary repairs.
• The proposed pavement improvements consist of approximately 25,000 linear feet of roadway resurfacing within the listed street segments. The pavement ​improvement work will follow the minor underground utility repairs and incorporate repair of adjacent impacted areas, including driveway, sidewalk, curb and gutter removal, and replacement. Peachgate Lane, Peachgate Road, Peachgate Court, Prairie Lawn Road, and Huber Lane are under the Village of Glenview and Northfield Township Road District jurisdiction
• As part of the Project, the Village entered into an IGA with Northfield Township, who will pay the Village the actual construction cost for the resurfacing of sections of Peachgate Lane, Peachgate Road, Peachgate Court, Prairie Lawn Road, and Huber Lane within the Township jurisdiction.
