COVID-19 updates and temporary permit options

Due to reduced commuter parking during the coronavirus pandemic, the Village is offering  discounts on commuter parking for 2021 only:

  • A 50-percent discount for resident and non-resident permits (semi-annual and annual)
  • Monthly permit options at 50% discounted rate as well

Because commuter ridership is down, for the 2020-21 winter season the Village intends to close and not plow two ancillary parking lots serving The Glen of North Glenview Metra station (see map) and three ancillary parking lots serving the downtown Metra station (see map). This action will save the Village money. Parking lot closures will be evaluated throughout the winter season dependent on ridership.
