This past week the contractor placed the final layer of asphalt on Strawberry Lane.
Good News! The project is completed, and this will be the final blog post for the project. We hope you found the information helpful and insightful regarding the current status of the project and upcoming work.
The Village of Glenview will provide surveys in the future for you to complete regarding the construction work and notifications provided. Please take a few moments to complete this survey. The information will allow us to know what aspects of the project we are doing well at and which areas we need to improve upon in the future.We appreciate your patience.
This past week the contractor completed installing the sod. The contractor also plans to adjust the manholes and complete the standardized testing of the newley installed underground utilities.
During the week of July 26, the contractor tentatively plans to oil and sand the road on Tuesday in anticipation of paving the final layer of asphalt on Wednesday. This work is dependent on favorable weather.
Throughout this phase of construction, the contractor will be working in the street and parkway. Construction hours are from 7 am to 7 pm Monday through Friday and 9 am to 5 pm on Saturdays, if necessary.Thank you for your patience.
This past week the contractor completed landscaping preparation and is scheduled to place the sod the week of July 19. The contractor tentatively plans to mill the top two inches of existing asphalt pavement.
