The week of May 22, the contractor completed the new water service installation. The contractor also made the final water main tie in at Washington and Colfax to retire the old water main.

The week of May 29, the contractor will begin replacing  storm sewer services from the storm sewer main in the center of the road to behind the new sidewalk. This will include a new clean out installed for future connections. The contractor will be starting at Golf Road and working to the North towards Colfax.

We ask that you please drive slow through the construction sites. This is for your safety as well as the construction workers and other pedestrians. This will also help to curtail the dust from the construction.

The week of May 15 the contractor will began installing new water services on Washington from MacArthur working towards Harrison. The new water services connect each house to the new water main with a new 1.5” copper water service line as well as a new b-box and water shut off valve. Residents will receive notice before their new water service is scheduled to be installed. While the contractor is connecting your new service, you will experience a water service interruption that could last up to one hour. The Village understands that not having water, even for a short period of time, is an inconvenience and we greatly appreciate your patience.
