  • The Cook County Department of Public Health's COVID-19 Surveillance Data map​ tracks reported COVID-19 cases by municipality in suburban Cook County.
  • In response to a surge in scams and price gouging since the onset of the COVID-19 outbreak, residents are urged to file any complaints with the Office of the Attorney General to report unfair practices connected to the pandemic. Under a March 16 Illinois executive order, the Illinois Attorney General is directing businesses to maintain fair pricing, particularly on items public health agencies are recommending people use to prevent the spread of coronavirus.

  • Illinois Covid Modeling is a joint effort between Northwestern University (NU), the University of Chicago (UC), the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC), and Argonne National Laboratory (ANL) which have been modeling COVID-19 in Illinois since March 2020. ​

National and global resources

  • ​The Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation (IHME) provides charts for the U.S. and all 50 states regarding projected hospital resource use based on COVID-19 deaths. The model assumes continued social distancing until the end of May 2020.
  • A map of coronavirus COVID-19 global cases is provided by the Center for Systems Science and Engineering (CSSE) at Johns Hopkins University.
  • Apple  Inc. – in partnership with the White House Coronavirus Task Force and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, including the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) – released an app and website that guides Americans through a series of questions about their health and exposure to determine if they should seek care for COVID-19 symptoms. The tool provides CDC recommendations on next steps including guidance on social distancing and self-isolating, how to closely monitor symptoms, recommendations on testing, and when to contact a medical provider. ​
