Featuring live music, cold beer, great sales and fun activities, Glenview's annual Summer Fest welcomes families and friends to Lehigh Avenue and Jackman Park from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday, June 29.
Organized by the Glenview Chamber of Commerce, the Fest showcases a range of regional businesses and civic organizations, and offers something for everyone.
Crowd favorities include Hackney's, Scandinavian Ski Shop and Katy Boldt Jewelry. Kids can enjoy sliding down a fire pole just their size courtesy of the Glenview Fire Department, along with other kid-friendly activities like balloons, crafts and puppies.
Thirsty fair-goers can stop by the beer tent, offering craft beers and more.
Return to the downtown Glenview Metra parking lot north of Jackman Park from 5:30 to 10:30 p.m. for Pantrypalooza, with live music, food and drink. The $10 entry fee benefits the Northfield Township Food Pantry.
