Celebrate Glenview's 125th Birthday

Happy Birthday, Glenview!

Thank you to everyone who helped celebrate the Village's 125th birthday! The Village of Glenview officially turned 125 years young on June 20, 2024, and a group of representatives from the Village of Glenview, Glenview Park District, Glenview Public Library, Glenview Chamber of Commerce, Glenview History Center and local school districts planned several programs and events this summer to celebrate the occasion with the entire community.

Thank you to everyone who purchased Glenview 125 apparel. The store is now closed.

Local restaurants also provided these children's activity sheets in celebration of Glenview's 125th!

A full rundown of events that were held is listed at right, and read on below for a brief history of Glenview's incorporation. Want to learn more? Visit the Glenview History Center or our Glenview history content.
