Home Government Boards & Commissions Plan Commission
The Plan Commission is responsible for reviewing proposals regarding property development in Glenview. Annexation proposals, rezoning, site plan reviews and zoning code changes, as well as conditional use requests (needed if the use of property can only be permitted in a particular zoning district through a special approval process) are reviewed and recommended to the Village Board of Trustees for final action. The Plan Commission is charged with managing development in the Village in order to ensure that Glenview maintains its balance of high residential standards and thriving businesses, and its open spaces and public places.
