  • Heard a presentation on Emergency Medical Dispatch response determinants implementation.
  • Gave final approval to a conditional use to allow a 19-seat craft brewery and taproom at 1825 Waukegan Road, a conditional use in the B-2 General Business District.
  • Gave final approval to a conditional use, final site plan review and preliminary subdivision for building a 21,394-square-foot addition to Henking School, 2941 Linneman Street, for eight classrooms and a multi-purpose room; a 23,530-square-foot addition to Lyon School, 1353 Waukegan Road, for nine classrooms and a multi-purpose room; and two additions totaling 36,738 square feet to Westbrook School, 1333 Greenwood Road, for kindergarten and pre-kindergarten classrooms and a multi-purpose room, all to accommodate a new full-day kindergarten program.
  • Gave final approval to a conditional use, final site plan review and preliminary subdivision for building three additions totaling 37,260 square feet to Springman Middle School, 2701 Central Road, to house a gymnasium and locker rooms; science laboratory spaces; and a stairwell.
  • Authorized execution of a three-year GIS Consortium Service Provider Contract with Municipal GIS Partners, Inc. of Des Plaines, to continue development and maintenance of the Village Geographic Information System (GIS) from January 1, 2021 through December 31, 2023 for a total $645,692.
  • Approved a final play of subdivision for the St. David's re-subdivision at 2408 and 2410 Glenview Road, which creates two new lots to reflect the sale of the existing former rectory property for subsequent demolition and construction of a new single-family detached residence.
  • Approve the Holiday in the Park and Reverse Parade and allow associated temporary road closures and parking restrictions for the November 28 event.
  • Authorized purchase of 5,000 tons of rock salt for the 2020-21 winter season from the State of Illinois and Lake County's rock salt joint purchasing program for $378,470.
  • Amended a contract with Advanced Cleaning Systems for supplemental COVID-19 cleanings at the Municipal Center, Public Works campus and two Metra stations for an estimated $111,615 through April 30, 2021.
  • Approved an amendment to the Intergovernmental and Subrecipient Agreement with Cook County for coronavirus relief funds.
  • Preliminarily amended the Glenview Municipal Code to increase the number of Class K liquor licenses from two to three; Class E liquor licenses from 24 to 25; and Class A liquor licenses from 47 to 48 to accommodate applications from Stunt Brewing, 1825 Waukegan Road, and Tangled Roots Beverage Company, 1100 Milwaukee Avenue.
  • Preliminarily granted a conditional use and final site plan review approval for Willowbrook School, 2500 Happy Hollow Road, in order to construct an addition to the existing school and expand the parking lot by 15 stalls and preliminarily granted a zoning variation for the parking lot design.
