Actions taken:

• Approved a Resolution approving a one-year contract extension with Chicagoland Paving, of Lake Zurich, IL, for asphalt patching services
• Approved a Resolution approving a one-year contract extension with American Underground, Inc. of Wheeling, IL, for sanitary and storm sewer CCTV inspection services
• Approved a Resolution approving a contract for the Municipal Center generator module upgrade with Buckeye Power Sales, of Romeoville, IL, in the amount of $34,121, plus a 5% contingency of $1,706, for a not-to-exceed amount of $35,827
• Approved a Resolution to Approve a Water Supply Agreement with the Illinois-American Water Company through September 30, 2050
• Approved a Resolution ratifying the purchase of the Village's liability insurance program and binding of coverage for the May 1, 2023 through April 30, 2024 policy period in the amount of $878,748, plus a $25,000 contingency for a total not-to-exceed amount of $903,748
• Approved the following two Resolutions related to the purchase of Police Vehicles:

(1) A Resolution to waive competitive bidding and approve the purchase two (2) administration vehicles from Bredemann Ford of Glenview, IL for a cost of $97,245 plus a 3 percent contingency for a total amount of $100,163

(2) A Resolution to waive competitive bidding requirements to outfit two (2) administrative vehicles in the amount of $24,000 with MPC Communications of Northbrook, IL

• Approved a Resolution authorizing a bid award and approving a contract with DiMeo Brothers Inc., of Elk Grove Village, Illinois for the Dearlove Road and Wildberry Drive Water Main Improvement Project in the amount of $2,382,969 plus a $40,000 contingency, for an amount not to exceed $2,422,969
• Approved a Resolution waiving competitive bidding and approving the purchase of traffic control water barriers with covers from Tamis Corporation of Monroeville, PA in an amount not-to-exceed $64,320
• Approved a Resolution approving a one-year contract with three (3) optional one-year extensions with Schroeder & Schroeder, Inc., of Skokie, IL, for concrete flatwork repair services
• Approved a Resolution to authorize various 2023 special events and associated temporary road closures and parking restrictions
• Approved a Resolution authorizing the use of Motor Fuel Tax Fund Appropriations for the 2023 Road Resurfacing and MARS Programs
• Approved Resolutions related to the FY2023 Road Resurfacing and MARS Program approving:

(1) A contract award to Builders Paving LLC, of Hillside, Illinois, in the amount of $1,958,000 plus a $200,000 contingency, for an amount not to exceed $2,158,000; and

(2) An Intergovernmental Agreement with Northfield Township Road District related to resurfacing of Peachgate Lane, Peachgate Road, Peachgate Court, Prairie Lawn Road, and Huber Lane

• Approved Resolutions approving contracts related to the Glenbrook South High School Improvement Project with

(1) Carmichael Construction Inc., of Marengo, IL in the amount of $21,559 plus a $3,000 contingency, for an amount not to exceed $24,559

(2) B.I.G Enterprises, Inc of South El Monte, CA in the amount not to exceed $30,500 and waiving competitive bidding

• Approved a Resolution to waive the competitive bidding requirements and approve a contract with Henricksen & Company, Inc. of Itasca, Illinois for the purchase and installation of municipal center furniture in the amount of $34,244.20
• Approved the voucher lists for April 18, 2023 and May 2, 2023
• Preliminarily approved an Ordinance amending a Conditional Use, and approving Final Site Plan Review, Zoning Variations and Preliminary Design Review for the Glenview United Methodist Church Bike Track at 727 Harlem Avenue
• Approved a Resolution authorizing the execution of the Fifth Amendment to the purchase and Sale Agreement between the Village of Glenview and The Drake Group regarding the sale of 1850 Glenview Road​
