Actions taken:

• Approved a Resolution approving a three-year contract with two (2) optional one-year extensions with Torres Trucking of Hoffman Estates, IL for debris hauling and aggregate material delivery services
• Approved a Resolution to ratify the emergency approval of a contract with Cummins NPower LLC, of Hodgkins, IL, for ladder truck 839 repairs in the amount of $63,584
• Approved a Resolution authorizing a bid award and approving a contract with Boller Construction Company, Inc., of Waukegan, Illinois for the Laramie Pump Station Improvement Project in the amount of $1,065,600 plus a 5% contingency of $53,280 for a not to exceed total amount of $1,118,880
• Approved a Resolution waiving competitive bidding and approving a five-year service agreement for the purchase and installation of interview cameras in the Police Station with Axon Enterprise of Scottsdale, AZ for $98,196 with a 2% contingency for a total of $100,160
• Approved the voucher list for August 1, 2023
• Preliminary approval of an Ordinance approving a Conditional Use for Karisma Dance Studio at 1817 Elmdale Avenue
• Preliminary approval of an Ordinance approving a zoning variation for a nonconforming use for Meier's Tavern at 235 East Lake Avenue​
