Actions taken:

• Approved a Resolution approving a three-year contract extension with Fox Valley Fire and Safety Co., Inc. of Elgin, IL for fire equipment maintenance and repair services.
• Approved a Resolution authorizing a bid award and approving a contract with Structures Construction of Chicago, IL for the History Center Facility Improvement Project in the amount of $165,569 plus a 5% contingency for a not to exceed total amount of $173,848.
• Approved a Resolution to purchase one Police utility vehicle from Woodstock Powersports, of Woodstock, IL for $33,689 with a 2% contingency for a total of $34,363 plus outfitting costs.
• Approved the voucher list for September 5, 2023.
• Approved first consideration of an Ordinance approving a vacation of right-of-way adjacent to 966 Waukegan Road.
• Approved first consideration of an Ordinance approving Zoning Variations, Final Site Plan Review, Preliminary Landscaping, Preliminary Lighting, and Preliminary Subdivision for the Downtown Parking Lot at 1705, 1709, 1715, 1725, and 1733 Glenview Road and 966 Waukegan Road.
• Approved first consideration of an Ordinance approving Zoning Variations, Final Site Plan Review, Preliminary Architecture, Preliminary Signage, Preliminary Landscaping, Preliminary Lighting and Preliminary Subdivision for the Jackman and Co. Restaurant at 1749 Glenview Road.
• Approved a Resolution authorizing the execution of an Economic Assistance Agreement with the Drake Group to facilitate construction of a new downtown mixed-use development.​
