Actions taken:

• Final approval of an Ordinance amending the Glenview Municipal Code – Chapter 6, Alcoholic Beverages, to increase the number of Class A liquor licenses
• Final approval of an Ordinance to dissolve the Waukegan Road/Golf Road TIF Fund and terminate the designation of the Waukegan Road/Golf Road Redevelopment Project Area, commonly known as the Waukegan/Golf TIF
• Approved a Resolution authorizing the purchase of rock salt for the 2023-2024 winter season from the State of Illinois and Lake County's rock salt joint purchasing program
• Approved a Resolution authorizing a one-year contract with two (2) optional one-year extensions with Standard Fencing Co., Inc. of Chicago, IL for fence repair and replacement services
• Approved a Resolution authorizing an amendment to the term and an extension to the existing contract with Advanced Cleaning Systems, Inc. of Barrington, IL for custodial services
• Approved two Resolutions related to portable radios:
• (1) The purchase and programming of portable radios and associated radio equipment for the Glenview Fire and Police Departments with Motorola Solutions, of Chicago, IL for a not-to-exceed amount of $883,551; and
• (2) Approving the purchase of associated user fees for the STARCOM public safety radio network
• Approved a Resolution ratifying an emergency purchase and authorizing a service agreement with Advanced Security Solutions, to provide Crossing Guard services for the remainder of the 2023-2024 school year
• Approved Resolutions related to Natural Areas Maintenance:
• (1) A contract extension with Integrated Lakes Management of Waukegan, Illinois for annual Lake Glenview maintenance services in an amount not-to-exceed $68,168; and
• (2) A contract extension with Tallgrass Restoration, LLC of Schaumburg, Illinois for annual natural area maintenance landscape services in an amount not-to-exceed $157,028
• Approved a Resolution approving a contract with Meade Electric Company, Inc. of Willowbrook, IL for installation of adaptive intersection technology for an amount of $44,473 plus a ten percent (10%) contingency for a total not-to-exceed amount of $48,920
• Approved the voucher list for November 7, 2023
• Preliminarily approved an Ordinance to amend the Glenview Municipal Code, Chapter 90, Article II, Division 1, Section 90-43 regarding negligent or distracted driving
• Preliminarily approved an Ordinance amending Chapter 30-1, fees and charges, of the Municipal Code
• Approved a Resolution approving a Purchase and Sale Agreement between the Village of Glenview and Rock-Wil Corporation for the Patio Shops property at 1755 River Drive
• Approved a Resolution adopting the Village of Glenview Bicycle & Pedestrian Plan and ADA Transition Plan​
