Actions taken:

• Held a Public hearing on the 2023 Property Tax Levy
• Final approval of Ordinance amending Chapter 30-1, fees and charges, of the Municipal Code
• Approved a Resolution approving an extension and amendment to establish an updated five year Agreement with Baxter and Woodman of Crystal Lake, Illinois for engineering and public works contractual services
• Approved a Resolution authorizing an agreement with WSI of Indianapolis, IN for the upgrade of the NICE Inform software in the amount of $193,715
• Approved a Resolution authorizing an agreement with Carbyne, Inc. of New York to provide the Apex 911 phone system
• Approved a Resolution approving a one-year service agreement with three optional one-year extensions for the annual purchase and outfitting of Fire Department personnel with uniforms from On Time Embroidery, Elk Grove, IL, for a first-year amount of $48,300
• Approved a Resolution approving a three-year contract extension with ILT Vignocchi of Wauconda, IL for landscaping services
• Approved a Resolution approving a Final Subdivision for the LSCD Glenview subdivision at 3701-3703 West Lake Avenue
• Approved a Resolution authorizing a three-year GIS Consortium Service Provider Contract with Municipal GIS Partners, Inc. (“MGP") of Des Plaines, Illinois to continue the development and maintenance of the Village's Geographic Information System (“GIS")
• Approved Resolutions to purchase and repair Public Works vehicles and equipment, including:
• (1) Waive competitive bidding requirements and purchase two Ford mini-dump trucks and a Ford F-350 pickup truck for a total cost of $350,000;
• (2) Purchase two large Mack dump trucks for a total cost of $597,400;
• (3) Purchase a John Deere wheel loader for a total cost of $349,100;
• (4) Purchase a Bobcat multi-use skid steer for total cost of $47,200; and,
• (5) Approve a contract with EJ Equipment to replace the vacuum compressor and equipment for the Vaccon truck for a total cost of $55,400
• Approved three Resolutions authorizing three-year contracts with one optional three-year extension for emergency contactor assistance for water and sewer infrastructure repairs with the following contractors:
• (1) Kloepfer Construction, Inc. of Northbrook, Illinois;
• (2) DiMeo Brothers, Inc. of Elk Grove Village, Illinois; and
• (3) KS Energy Services, LLC of New Berlin, Wisconsin
• Approved the voucher list for November 21, 2023
• Final approval of an Ordinance to amend the Glenview Municipal Code, Chapter 90, Article II, Division 1, Section 90-43 regarding negligent or distracted driving
• Preliminarily approved an Ordinance declaring the Village exempt from the Illinois Paid Leave for All Workers Act for its own employees
• Preliminarily approved the 2023 Property Tax Levy Ordinance
• Preliminarily approved two 2023 Property Tax Abatement Ordinances

• Preliminarily approved 2 Ordinances Adopting and Amending the Village's Construction Codes including:
• Ordinance amending Chapter 18 (Buildings and Building Regulations) and Chapter 34 (Fire Prevention and Protection) of the Glenview Municipal Code by adopting and amending the suite of 2021 International Codes
• Ordinance adopting and amending the 2020 National Electric Code
• Preliminarily approved an Ordinance proposing the establishment of Special Service Area One Hundred and Five (SSA 105) for the installation of curb and gutter and storm sewer for Huckleberry Lane west of Wagner Road
• Preliminarily approved an Ordinance proposing the establishment of Special Service Area One Hundred and Seven (SSA 107) for the installation of curb and gutter for Sumac Circle and Cedarwood Lane in-between Fir Street and Linden Leaf Drive
• Preliminarily approved an Ordinance granting a zoning variation for wall signage for CF Industries at 2375 Waterview Drive
• Preliminarily approved an Ordinance approving an amendment to a conditional use, final site plan review, preliminary architecture, landscaping, and signage for Youth Services at 3080 West Lake Avenue
• Preliminarily approved an Ordinance approving a conditional use amendment, final site plan review and preliminary design review for the Community Park West Restrooms at 1001 Zenith Drive​
