Actions taken:

• Presented the winners of the 2023 Environmental Sustainability Awards
• Heard a presentation from the Glenview Public Library on 2023 accomplishments and 2024 initiatives
• Final approval of an Ordinance declaring the Village exempt from the Cook County Paid Leave Ordinance for its own employees
• Final approval of an Ordinance approving a conditional use for Pickleball4All at 2105 Johns Court
• Continued second consideration of an Ordinance to Feb. 6 approving Commercial Zoning Variations, Final Site Plan Review, and Preliminary Architecture and Landscaping for the Grove/Waukegan Restaurant at 1148 Waukegan Road
• Approved a Resolution authorizing a one-year contract extension with M.E. Simpson Co., Inc. of Valparaiso, IN for hydrant flushing services
• Approved a Resolution approving a three-year extension with Lyons Electric company Inc. of LaGrange, Illinois for streetlight maintenance, traffic signal maintenance and as needed repairs
• Approved the voucher list for January 23, 2024
