Actions taken:

• Held a Public Hearing for Special Service Area One Hundred and Five (SSA 105) and preliminarily approved an Ordinance establishing SSA 105 for the installation of curb and gutter and storm sewer for Huckleberry Lane west of Wagner Road with an effective date of May 18, 2024
• Held a Public Hearing for Special Service Area One Hundred and Seven (SSA 107) and preliminarily approved an Ordinance establishing SSA 107 for the installation of curb and gutter for Sumac Circle and Cedarwood Lane in-between Fir Street and Linden Leaf Drive with an effective date of May 18, 2024
• Final approval of an Ordinance amending the Glenview Municipal Code – Chapter 6, Alcoholic Beverages, to increase the number of Class A liquor licenses
• Final approval of an Ordinance approving a conditional use for TOB Automotive Sales at 3038 North Lake Terrace
• Approved Resolution approving the Village's workers' compensation insurance and binding of coverage for the March 1, 2024 through April 30, 2025 policy period in the amount of $151,706 plus a $15,000 contingency for a total amount of $166,706
• Approved a Resolution to award a contract to DiMeo Brothers Inc., of Elk Grove Village, Illinois for the Sumac Circle & Cedarwood Lane, Hawthorne Lane, and Bellwood Circle Improvement Projects in the amount of $3,636,285 plus an $90,000 contingency, for an amount not to exceed $3,726,285
• Approved a Resolution to award a contract to DiMeo Brothers Inc., of Elk Grove Village, Illinois for the Wildberry Drive, Greendale Road, and Valley Lo Lane Water Main Improvement Projects in the amount of $3,009,277 plus an $60,000 contingency, for an amount not to exceed $3,069,277
• Approved Resolutions for:
• (1) A contract award to Pirtano Construction Co. Inc., of Addison, Illinois, in the amount of $2,970,148 plus a $100,000 contingency, for an amount not to exceed $3,070,148 for the Huckleberry Lane and Wagner Road Improvement Projects; and
• (2) An Intergovernmental Agreement with Cook County for $275,000 grant funding related to Wagner Road improvements
• Approved a Resolution approving a Final Subdivision for the Paulownia Pointe II Subdivision at 1715 Greenwood Road
• Approved a Resolution approving a three-year contract with two optional one-year extensions with Sam Schwartz of Chicago, Illinois for professional traffic engineering services
• Approved Resolutions approving contracts for vehicle maintenance and repair services with the following contractors:
• (1) Golf Mill Ford (Niles, IL)
• (2) Fries Automotive Services (Wheeling, IL)
• Approved a Resolution approving a one-year contract with three (3) optional one-year extensions with Everlast Blacktop, Inc., of Elgin, IL, for concrete flatwork repair services
• Approved a Resolution authorizing a one-year contract extension with Best Technology Systems, Inc. of Plainfield, IL for gun range maintenance and as-needed services
• Approved a Resolution to approve a Highway Authorization and Reimbursement Agreements between the Village of Glenview and the Owner of 1533 Waukegan LLC at 1533 Waukegan Road
• Approved a resolution authorizing an agreement with TKB Associates of Mokena, IL to manage the transition of the Village's Laserfiche document storage platform to software as a Service (SaaS)
• Approved a Resolution authorizing the purchase of computer and network hardware for the Carbyne Apex, 911 phone system in the amount of $81,978
• Approved a Resolution approving the purchase and installation of outdoor dining barrier covers from Touchstone Group Construction of Chicago, IL in the amount of $158,533, plus a $7,000 contingency, for a not-to-exceed amount of $165,533
• Approved the voucher list for February 20, 2024
