Actions taken:

• Final approval of an Ordinance establishing Special Services Area One Hundred and Five (SSA 105) for the installation of curb and gutter and storm sewer for Huckleberry Lane west of Wagner Road with an effective date of May 18, 2024
• Final approval of an Ordinance establishing Special Services Area One Hundred and Seven (SSA 107) for the installation of curb and gutter for Sumac Circle and Cedarwood Lane in-between Fir Street and Linden Leaf Drive with an effective date of May 18, 2024
• Approved a Resolution approving a one-year contract extension with American Underground, Inc. of Wheeling, IL, for sanitary and storm sewer CCTV inspection services
• Approved a Resolution approving a one-year contract extension with Consulting Engineering, Inc., of Strongsville, Ohio for water leak detection and survey services
• Approved a Resolution approving a one-year contract extension with Lakeshore Recycling Services of Rosemont, IL for street sweeping services
• Approved a Resolution approving a three-year contract with two (2) optional one-year extensions with Alpha Maintenance and Services Inc. of Algonquin, IL, for hydrant painting services
• Approved a Resolution approving a three-year contract with two (2) optional one-year extensions with Patriot Pavement Maintenance of Wheeling, IL, for crack sealing services
• Approved a Resolution approving a contract with Pacific Construction Services of Chicago, IL for the 2024 Public Works Campus Improvement Project for a not to exceed amount of $6,243,741
• Approved a Resolution approving the purchase and installation of decorative lighting in The Glen Town Center from Associated Electrical Contractors of Woodstock, IL in the amount of $77,550, plus a $3,000 contingency, for a not-to-exceed amount of $80,550
• Approved a Resolution approving a contract for Fire Station 14 kitchen improvements with Red Feather Group of Glenview, IL for a not-to-exceed amount of $163,400
• Approved a Resolution to award and approve a contract with DiMeo Brothers Inc., of Elk Grove, Village, Illinois for the Sequoia Trail, Lincoln Street Alley, and Indian Ridge Improvement Projects in the amount of $3,647,929 plus an $80,000 contingency, for an amount not to exceed $3,727,929
• Approved a Resolution approving construction-related funding for the Milwaukee Avenue & Zenith Drive/Castilian Court Traffic Signal and Pedestrian Improvement Project to the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) in the amount of $553,574 plus a $20,000 contingency, for an amount not to exceed $573,574  
• Approved a Resolution waiving competitive bidding and approving an agreement with North Shore OMEGA Occupational Health of Glenview, IL for the police annual & pre-employment physical program through November 1, 2026
• Approved a Resolution approving a one-year agreement for telephone service with Constellation Telecomm
• Approved a Resolution approving a three-year agreement with Corti America of Miami, FL for Mission Control software used for non-EMD quality Assurance in the amount of $51,307 for the three year period
• Approved the voucher lists for March 5, 2024 and March 19, 2024
• Preliminarily approved an Ordinance amending the Glenview Municipal Code – Chapter 6, Alcoholic Beverages, to increase the number of Class A liquor licenses
• Preliminarily approved an Ordinance prohibiting non-negligible ethylene oxide sources in the Village of Glenview and declaring such use a nuisance
• Approved a Resolution to approve an update to A Plan for Nature in Glenview
