The Village of Glenview is currently completing preliminary engineering for the future planned improvements of the Glenview Road Bridge, just west of Harms Road, and will hold a public information meeting regarding the planned improvements.



The Village is in Phase I of a project on improvements to the Glenview Road bridge just west of Harms Road.


The general scope of work is anticipated to include bridge replacement, multi use path/sidewalk replacement and retaining walls. The project includes the acquisition of permanent and temporary easements. 


Tentative Schedule
  • Public Information Meeting: 4:30-6:30 p.m. Monday, June 17, 2024
  • Preliminary engineering study completion: 2024
  • Project design: 2026*
  • Approximate starting date of construction – 2027-2028


*Schedule of future phases to be determined based on project funding sources
