Project Overview

The proposed project includes approximately 250 feet of improvements, including construction of stormwater detention as well as streetscape improvements in Downtown Glenview along Pine Street from Glenview Road to south of Prairie Street.
The following improvements are included in this project:
- Installation of underground detention storage and storm sewer system, which will provide storm detention for the downtown area and increased capacity of the current storm sewer system.
- Residential electrical upgrade by ComEd
- Sidewalk replacement
- Curb and gutter replacement
- Streetscape improvements
- Roadway patching
- Parkway restoration with sod
Tentative Schedule
- Bid award date – April 2, 2024
- Resident pre-construction meeting – May 29, 2024
- Approximate starting date of construction – July 8, 2024
- Approximate completion of construction – August 15, 2024
Schedule may be revised due to inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances. Work hours are 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday. Work outside these hours will require Village approval.
