Landwehr Road Sidewalk

The week of June 9 the contractor finished placing sod in all areas of the parkway that were damaged due to construction. 

Good News! The project is substantially completed, and this will be the final blog post for the Landwehr Road Sidewalk installation project. We hope you found the information to be helpful and insightful regarding the status of the project and upcoming work.

The week of June 2 the contractor repaired all driveways with new asphalt and placed topsoil in the parkway. 

The week of June 9 the contractor plans on placing sod in all areas of the parkway that were damaged due to construction.

The week of May 26 the contractor has finished pouring the new sidewalk. The contractor also prepared for driveway restoration by removing and grading all driveways prior to installing asphalt.

The week of June 2 the contractor plans on paving asphalt for all driveways that were damaged due to construction. Also, the contractor tentatively plans on starting the parkway restoration by placing and grading topsoil to ensure the parkway drains correctly prior to placing sod.

The week of May 19 the contractor continued installing the new sidewalk along Landwehr Road. 

The week of May 26 the contractor will finish pouring the new sidewalk and then will start pouring the driveway gaps. The contractor also tentatively plans on starting driveway repairs by removing existing driveway aprons that were damaged during construction. They have to remove the damaged areas and prepare the area before paving new asphalt.

The week of May 12 the contractor finished installing the new storm sewer along Landwehr Road. The contractor then started excavating for the new sidewalk starting at the north end.  

The week of May 19 the contractor will continue excavating for the new sidewalk. The contractor tentatively plans on pouring concrete for the new sidewalk, again, starting at the north end and working south.

The week of May 5 the contractor continued installing storm sewer along Landwehr Road.

The week of May 12 the contractor plans on continuing installing storm sewer starting where they left off the previous week. Towards the end of the week the contractor is tentatively planning on beginning excavation for the new sidewalk. They will start at the north end and work south.

The week of April 28 the contractor began the storm sewer installation. They started at the north end of the project and are working south. Storm sewer installation is planned to take a couple of weeks

The week of May 5 the contractor will continue to install new storm sewer.

Welcome to the project updates page for the Landwehr Road Sidewalk Installation Project. Project updates will typically be posted on Fridays of each week. The contract was awarded to Campanella & Sons of Wadsworth, IL

During the week of April 21 the contractor began mobilization for the project. This includes utility markings and layout in advance of the new sidewalk and storm sewer installation. The contractor also staged material throughout the project including pipe and manholes.

The week of April 28 the contractor tentatively plans on starting the storm sewer installation later in the week. They plan on starting at the north end of the project and working south. Storm sewer installation is planned to take a couple of weeks.
