Maple Leaf Drive Improvements
2025 Capital Improvement Project


The proposed project includes approximately 2,800 feet of improvements on Maple Leaf Drive from Strawberry Lane to Mary Kay Lane.
The following major improvements are included in this project:
- Replacement of existing water main with new 8-inch diameter water main, including 1 1/2-inch water services and new b-boxes.
- Installing additional storm inlets
- Roadway resurfacing with new asphalt pavement
- Curb and gutter and concrete sidewalk spot repairs
- Driveway apron replacement (in-kind)
- Parkway restoration with sod

The week of April 14 the contractor continued installing new water main. They are installing the water main starting in the north and working their way towards Greenwood. Installation of the new water main is anticipated to take four weeks.
The week of April 21 the contractor will continue installing new water main starting where they left off the previous week.

The week of April 7 the contractor began the installation of the new water main. They started at the northern intersection of Maple Leaf and Mary Kay. Installation of the new water main is anticipated to take five weeks.
The week of April 14 the contractor will continue installing new water main starting where they left off the previous week.

During the week of March 31, 2025 the contractor began mobilization and preparing for the project. This includes utility markings and layout in advance of the new water main and storm sewer spot repairs. The contractor also saw cut the pavement in anticipation of installing the new water main. The contractor has also staged material throughout the project including pipe and manholes.
The week of April 7, 2025 the contractor will being the installation of the new water main. They tentatively plan on starting at the northern intersection of Maple Leaf and Mary Kay. Installation of the new water main is anticipated to take five weeks. Residents can expect a temporary shut down when they begin the water main installation. Glenview Public works will let residents know at least 48 hours before any planned shutdowns.
