Budget season is upon us! What do YOU want to see the Village prioritize in the 2025 budget?

The Village's budget season formally kicks off in September every year.

The budget is the most important work product the Village Board must develop and approve every year. Not only is it a legal document detailing how dollars are spent, but it also lays out Village goals and objectives for the coming year.

Here's the schedule for this year's budget workshops, which are held to allow the Board and the public an opportunity to review and provide feedback and direction on the budget. If you have an idea or suggestion for the Village's budget, these are the best opportunity to share that input with the Board.

7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 16, Village Hall

• Preliminary Library Budget and Tax Levy
• Non-Profit Core Service Funding
• 2024 Tax Levy
