Be a great neighbor with the Good Neighbor Guide

The Village of Glenview created the Good Neighbor Guide as a way to help residents keep their property safe, beautiful and compliant.

The guide includes tips on common residential code compliance issues, an overview of what home improvement projects do and do not require a permit, a home inspection checklist to keep the exterior of your house looking beautiful, an review of garbage and recycling policies, winter weather information, pet safety tips, pest prevention information, a tree and lawn care guide and how to stay informed with what's happening in Glenview.
