Village Hall Cooling Center to be active July 28

The Village Hall Cooling Center will be activated from 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. on Monday, July 28 with an extreme heat advisory issued for all of Cook County.

During this period, the Rugen Community Room in Village Hall is available to provide a safe location to anyone in need of relief from the elements.

The Village activates its warming and cooling centers as severe weather conditions dictate. Once activated, the Community Room is available for the public and monitored by members of Glenview Public Safety Dispatch and the Glenview Police Department.

To access the Cooling Center, please enter Village Hall (2500 East Lake Avenue) through the main entrance and check in with the front desk.
