Glenview Communications earns national recognition for creative government storytelling!
The Village's Communications team earned national accolades for its creative, informative and engaging approach to local government storytelling.
Glenview was recognized in three categories across two prestigious national award programs: the Government Programming Awards from the National Association of Telecommunications Officers and Advisors (NATOA), and the Savvy Awards from the City-County Communications & Marketing Association (3CMA).
Glenview’s monthly news series Gimme 5, Glenview is a finalist for Best Interview/Talk Show/News Programming in 3CMA’s Savvy Awards. These awards celebrate the top government communications campaigns nationwide, and Glenview’s finalist nod places it among the best. Winners will be revealed Sept. 3 at 3CMA’s annual conference.
Meanwhile, NATOA’s Government Programming Awards spotlight the best in video, broadcast, and digital content produced by local governments. Glenview’s playful Get the Glenview Good Neighbor Guide Today video — a tongue-in-cheek homage to 1990s-style infomercials — is a finalist in the “Use of Humor” category. The Village also earned an honorable mention for its 2025 Budget Video, a creatively scripted newscast that makes municipal finance engaging and accessible. Winners will be announced at NATOA’s national conference on Aug. 21.
These recognitions reflect Glenview’s commitment to building trust, engaging the public and making local government both accessible and fun.
